In order to preserve the biodiversity of the site, the course taken by the project will be to protect existing trees and plant species while planting new species at the same time. In selecting the new flora which are to be planted, preference will be given to local species, or to species which would enrich the plant-life of the area.
The “Landscaping guidelines manual” sets out directives on how all communal green spaces are to be designated and arranged, as well as guidelines for private green spaces.
